About Vibrant

A cultural event named "Vibrant" is a celebration of diverse cultural experiences and traditions. This event is characterized by lively and energetic atmosphere, showcasing the richness of cultural heritage through music, dance, food, art and other forms of expression. The aim of this event is to bring people together, foster understanding, and promote unity through a shared appreciation of cultural diversity. "Vibrant" promises to be a colorful and exciting experience for all attendees.

About SGU

Sanjay Ghodawat University was established as a State Private University in the year 2017. Previously it was Sanjay Ghodawat Insitutes formed in the year 2009 by the Chairman of SG Group, Sanjay Ghodawat. The Institute had received NAAC A grade and also its programs were accredited by NBA and after this the natural progression was the evolvement of Sanjay Ghodawat University. The University was formed to accomodate more students and give them a variety of choices for their career path. The University offers UG, PG and PhD programs in Technology, Management, Commerce, Science, Liberal Arts, Architecture, Pharmacy and Computer Applications.

Rules And Regulations

  • Props can be used if needed but no props or costume or any material will be provided by the organizers.
  • Theme can be of your choice.
  • It is a team event.
  • Time limit for every team would be Max 10 minutes (Including setup and the performance both).
  • Negative marking if participants exceed time limit.
  • Participants should carry their tracks in pen drive. and should be submitted in advance.
  • Vulgarity is strongly prohibited. Any form of obscenity will lead to debarring the team from the contest.
  • No tube tops, no single strip tops, dress should be knee length, no cleavage showing,and no backless (unless traditional).
  • Teams will be judged on costumes, theme, walking stance, attitude and tag line.
  • Purchased, professionally made, or rented costumes are permitted.
  • Each group should have one tag line representing their group
  • Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
  • All costumes are permitted, which maintain decency including original costumes & fashion designs.
  • There will be 2 rounds out of which, 1st round will be Ramp Walk from which 5 teams will be selected further for 2nd Round which will be questions round. The team leader giving satisfactory answer will be the winner.
  • Only Four accompanists are allowed per team.

    Rules And Regulations

  • The songs can be in any regional/official language of India.
  • Students should follow the sequence allotted to them to perform.
  • Students should take care of their costume, makeup, Properties and instruments, etc.
  • Participants will not be allowed to refer to the lyrics while singing.
  • Choice of song is open to the participants but the song should not have any slangs or derogatory language.
  • Participants are supposed to give a solo performance. Remember it is a solo competitionand no other member will be allowed to perform with you.
  • Decision of the judges will be final and cannot be contested.
  • Participants must bring their Karaoke track on Pen drive.
  • The Participants should bring there own musical instruments if required in the performance. ➢ Tracks should be submitted in advance. ( 2 Days Prior to the Event)
  • Tracks for both the rounds must be different.
  • Negative marking for exceeding time limit.
  • Two rounds for singing.
  • There will be 2 rounds out of which, 1st round will be Pre-finale from which selected Participants further for 2nd Round which will be Finale Round.

    Finale: 5minutes

    Clarity of words, Song Selection, Voice quality, Rhythm, Expression, Discipline, Timing, Theme, Taal, Composition & Presentation.

    Rules And Regulations

  • Maximum 6 members in each team are allowed.
  • Each team has to announce a leader at the time of registration.
  • Each team will be allotted a particular Number. And all the clues for the team will be in code form which you will get once after solving every clue
  • Wallets, mobile phones and all the other device of communication or IT devices will be taken away from the participants. You must rely on your team members only.
  • There is a time limit of 2 hrs 30 mins for all the competing teams to find the treasure.
  • The clues are to be found in a particular order. A team cannot skip a clue. Skipping a clue leads to disqualification of the team.
  • An entire team must stay together. It cannot split up to find different clues. If a team splits, it will be penalized by a point penalty and after 3 penalty points, team will be disqualified.
  • All the means used by the teams should be fair, in case of any violation of the rules or any use of unfair means, teams will be disqualified from the contest.
  • The Treasure Hunt consists of clues, each one leading to the next clue. Selection of the teams will be based on elimination method. A team will be evaluated with regarding to the time needed for solve a clue.
  • All the clues of the teams are at different and located at different places but the final destination i.e. the treasure is same. The team which finds the treasure first wins.
  • Organizers are free to make any changes which will be informed prior to the competition.
  • College map will be provided.
  • Participants will be given time to see the campus prior to the event.
  • Late comers will not be entertained.
  • Misbehavior of participants will not be tolerated.
  • Decision of the judges and the event heads shall be treated as final.

    Rules And Regulations

  • It is a team event.
  • Crews are allowed to participate, provided all participating members should be from same college.
  • Decency in dressing should be maintained. Minimum knee length costumes are allowed. No Shears / Tears are allowed.
  • Team should follow the sequence allotted to them to perform.
  • Group members should take care of their costume (Dress, Makeup, Properties and setting required for skit, etc.)
  • Any kind of flame or heavy objects are not allowed on stage.
  • Participants may use more than one song in their performance.
  • Obscenity/ vulgarity of any kind are not allowed and it will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Time allotted is minimum 4min to maximum 8min. (Negative marking will be considered for excessive time.)
  • Participants should carry their tracks in pen drive.
  • Tracks should be submitted in advance. (2 Days Prior to the Event).
  • Any misbehave from students will cause cancellation of dance on the spot.
  • Group should report 30min before the time allotted to them. Dance should start in time, otherwise team will not be allowed to perform.
  • College ID is mandatory for participation in the event.
  • Judge’s decision will be final and no explanation will be given for same. No disputes regarding the results shall be entertained.
  • Each participating college / institute / department can depute student participant performing in Any style of Indian classical dance/ western dance.
  • The Organizing team reserves the right to change or modify the rules.
  • Rounds will be decided on the basis of number of entries.
  • Six accompanists are only allowed per team.
  • Judging criteria: Choreography, Energy, Expression, Synchronization, Stage Utilization, Costumes, Innovation Overall impact, Facial expression and body language.

    Rules And Regulations

  • The reel must be an original creation. You can only be inspired by existing trends online. Plagiarized content lead to disqualification.
  • Any offensive, name-calling, derogatory remarks, and/or regional slang towards any person or community should not be used.
  • The video should not exceed 60 Seconds.
  • Individual, as well as group entries (not more than 3 people), are allowed.
  • Please use one medium of language for the reels. The submissions can be in either English or Hindi.
  • Each Participant will accept only one entry, and a second entry will lead to disqualification.
  • As per Reel format, the video should be made vertically and not horizontally.
  • Sanjay Ghodawat University reserves the right to publish Reels in any online media without consulting the maker.
  • The decision of the Judging panel will be final.
  • We reserve the right to bar Entries for containing any infringing, threatening, misleading, false, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, inflammatory, scandalous, pornographic or profane content.
